Chickpea Curry

Chickpea curry (http://www.thismuslimgirlbakes.com/2016/12/chickpea-curry-for-halwa-poori.html), Semolina Halwa (http://www.thismuslimgirlbakes.com/2016/10/sooji-halwa-semolina-halwa.html), and Pooris (http://www.thismuslimgirlbakes.com/2016/12/pooris.html). I’ve made similar chickpea curries before, but this one combined some of my favorite elements of the others, including steeping a teabag in the curry as it cooks for a while and a combination of some of my favorite spices. Paired with the crunch of the poori and the sweetness of the halva, I can see why it’s such a popular combination. I added in a mango lassi as well that you can see in the last picture, and this will see me through happily until tomorrow’s breakfast.
