Fattat ‘Adas

with Salatat Khadra, and Chubab (Bedouin pancakes) from Habeeb Salloum’s The Arabian Nights Cookbook, pages 110, 51, and 120. I pulled this book off the library shelf based on my success with another book by the same author, and found just what I needed. The soup is filling and flavorful, the salad is fresh and light, and the pancakes were a pleasure to make and eat.
