Geomun-Kongjorim / 검은콩조림

The beans are from Maangchi‘s recipe, but I didn’t check for tenderness, so they came out a bit al dente, but still very tasty. I’ll definitely finish this batch and make them again. The braised burdock root dish was new to me as well, from Maangchi’s Real Korean Cooking p. 151. It’s very tasty, and went nicely with the beans. It may not look like it, but this is a very good (and simple) meal for people with a sweet tooth.
