Pasta with Spinach and Chickpeas

from Judith Barrett’s Fagioli, p. 179. The chickpeas came out perfectly with her instructions, and the combination of flavors was lovely. I didn’t chop up the spinach since I was using baby spinach and I like it that way. This one is pretty clearly not vegetarian. I’m curious how different the flavor would be without the pancetta. It does add something distinctive.
