Spinach Lentil Soup / شوربة العدس والسبانخ

This simple and lovely recipe is from Arto Der Haroutunian’s “Vegetarian Dishes from the Middle East.” I followed his pita recipe as well, and got better results than ever before. I took the tip to add some oil to the dough for softer loaves. I think you can tell from the picture how soft it was.
